Royal favourite designer Princess Marie-Chantal unveils magical childrenswear collection

The new collection celebrates the heritage and nostalgia of childhood

August 24, 2017

Crown Princess Marie-Chantal launched her luxury childrenswear label, Marie-Chantal, back in 2001. A favourite with both A-listers and royalty, the label has gone from strength to strength ever since.

The latest Autumn/Winter 2017 collection has been inspired by the nostalgias of childhood - and we simply love it!

Marie-Chantal said of her latest designs: "Stories are such as wonderful part of childhood. They inspire our children to be creative but also give them the con dence that they can achieve almost anything in their life."

This beautiful metalic berry dress will be the envy of all little girls at the school disco this December. Team it with a black cardigan, some contrasting ballet pumps and your daughter will be good to go!

We love these stunning winter colours in Marie-Chantal's new collection. This beautiful little girl looks fabulous modelling the label's knitted dress, which featured a crisp white bodice, peter pan collar with a contrasting purple hem, and a tweed skirt.

With the cold weather fast approaching, this cosy, yet smart coat will soon be a staple of many little girls' wardrobes, and would look cute with winter boots of Mary Janes, as worn by the mini fashionista pictured.

Marie-Chantal's Autumn/Winter collection just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter! How cute are these models in their smart outfits?

Marie-Chantal's dove grey wool-cashmere dress has been teamed with the label's black velvet slippers with the iconic Marie-Chantal crest - the ideal outfit to dress your little girl in during the impending autumn months ahead.

A close up of this delightful design by Princess Marie-Chantal, which features a peter pan collar, cuff sleeves and a pleated skirt.

The talented royal previously cited her five children as the inspiration behind her brand. She shared, "I have five children – the eldest is 20, the youngest is eight – so I always go back to how I used to dress them, or I go back to my own childhood and think of those beautiful nostalgic memories. I think parents do that; they love to remember their own childhood."

This gorgeous bloom wind print dress, features a minature peter pan collar, white buttons and elbow-length sleeves, and looks adorable styled with pink leather Mary Janes and maueve knee socks.

We wish this dress was available in slightly larger sizes. This beautiful black and white tweed design features a contrasting purple ribbon tie, and looks ultra-cute teamed with a co-ordinating jacket, knee socks and pink leather Mary Janes.

This adorable minature muse looks beautiful in Marie-Chantal's tartan ruffle dress, rose gold socks and burgandy Mary Janes.

This ruffled floral print blouse would be a great wardrobe staple for your little one, and we love it teamed with this chocolate-hued cashmere skirt.

Don't these little boys look smart in these classic, yet comfortable suits? The model on the left looks daper in a velvent dinner jacket, a white shirt and casual jeans, while the model on the right wears a grey suit jacket teamed with a white shirt and co-ordinating grey flannel trousers.

Who can resist Marie-Chantal's beautiful pearl pink velvet dress with a contrasting crisp white collar? The super-sweet model wears it with a pair of white tights.

This velvet outfit is so sweet. The model looks adorable in a pink top with ruffled cuffs from Marie-Chantal's latest Autumn/Winter collection, teamed with a co-oridnating skirt.

Crown Pince Marie-Chantal's designs are without a doubt stylish, but the talented royal has previously stated that comfort is the most important factor when it comes to her designs.

"It's so much about the feel, the touch and whether the child is comfortable in it," she said.

With designs that are both cute and stylish, there is little wonder Marie-Chantal is a favourite with so many celebrities and their children.

The Crown Princess's designs have been worn by a number of high-profile children including Harper Beckham, North West, Princess Leonore and Prince Nicolas.

Named a princess dress for a reason, this 'Pale Pink Long Silk Princess Dress' is simply adorable. The enchanting design is sure to make all little girls feel special while wearing it.

This cute grey coat dress features a hood and fur trim, and looks adorable teamed with Marie-Chantal's pale pink princess dress.
