With December fast approaching, preparations have commenced for the iconic Victoria's Secret fashion show, with hopeful models making their way to the brand's New York headquarters. With the casting process underway, hopefuls have been lining up to audition for one of the most notoriously difficult interviews in fashion. So far, a number of stunning models have left the Victoria's Secret building seen holding congratulatory roses – a sign that they have indeed made the cut this year. These include 19-year-old Aiden Curtiss, daughter of one of the world's most renowned supermodels, Katoucha Niane, Dutch model Roosmarijn de Kok and Amilna Estevao.

Other models who have made the show this year include Tanzanian model Herieth Paul, who is set to walk for the acclaimed fashion show for the second time. Taking to her Instagram page to share the exciting news with fans, she wrote: "VS FASHION SHOW 2017, here I come! It is my pleasure to announce that I will be walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the second time." She added: "I will give my best on the runway and make sure to represent all the girls out there with dreams bigger than themselves. May this announcement bring hope and determination to anyone who reads it."

IMG model Georgia Folwer also made the cut, telling fans: "With all things celestial this week ...I can say, I am truly over the moon to be confirmed in the #VSFashionShow! shout out to @ed_razek@johndavidpfeiffer @monica.mitro@10magazine for giving me this magnificent opportunity!"

Daniela Braga has made the cut!

Daniela Braga, who having walked three times already, is practically a pro, is also in the line-up. The model wrote a heartfelt message on her Instagram account next to a photo of walking a previous show. She told fans of her difficult school years and experience with depression, which ultimately helped her persevere during the early stages of her career.

Although the location of the show is not yet confirmed, reports back in March indicated that it will be hosted in Shanghai. Previous cities that have hosted the iconic show include London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has become an international phenomenon with millions of people tuning in around the world to see strut their stuff, with past models including Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, while musicians including The Weeknd and Bruno Mars perform. We can't wait to hear what they have lined up for 2017!
