The French model confirmed the news on her Instagram account

August 24, 2017

French model Estelle Chen has landed a spot at the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The catwalk star, who is of Chinese descent, is one of the new faces walking for the American lingerie giant in its annual underwear spectacular. Vogue Australia also reports Amilna Estevao, Victoria Lee and Frida Aasen are among the other fresh faces to be included this year.

They join a host of established Angels, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Louis Vuitton star Estelle posted a gushing post next to a Boomerang video of her and three other models.

"Can't believe it's happening... I'm incredibly happy to announce that I AM WALKING THE VICTORIA'S SECRET 2017 SHOW," she exclaimed. "I'm so thankful for everything that has happened in my life so far, every person I've met during these past four years, my family (mum, dad, williams, you're the best) and my friends who are always by my side no matter what."

Who will be walking in this year's Victoria's Secret show?

She also wrote that she's experienced a lot of ups and downs over the course of her career, but adds that's what makes the journey to the top so special.

Estelle Chen had dreamed about this opportunity since she was a teenager

And Estelle made sure she thanked her agency too, as well as the Victoria's Secret team.

"(Thanks) for giving me the opportunity I dreamed about since I was 13 can't wait to see you guys again you inspire girls to be the best version of themselves and you make our dreams become reality," she shared.

Details of the 2017 show are still being kept under wraps, though Vogue previously reported it's likely to be held in Shanghai.

Hailey Baldwin was spotted at the show casting earlier this week, though she's not yet been confirmed as part of the line-up.
