Lidl are set to unveil its first ever maternity collection – and we love it! The Esmara Pure range will be in stores from 7 September, and boasts everything from dresses to underwear – all within a purse-friendly price range. Key pieces from the collection include a chic £7.99 striped midi dress, made from organic cotton and designed to "flatter" your growing bump and take you from day to night with a simple change of accessories.

There are also oh-so-practical maternity leggings costing just £4.99, again, made from organic cotton and featuring an elasticated waist. Nursing bras also feature, designed for "optimal comfort," also costing £4.99.

Josie Stone, Head of Non-Food at Lidl UK, said of the upcoming collection: "Featuring mostly nude, natural and autumnal colours, our first maternity range is guaranteed to be flattering on every pregnant, or nursing, shape. Whether she is a discerning fashion lover or a comfort seeker, every mum-to-be will be delighted and will be wearing these pieces time and time again."

Tiny joggers for just £3.99 feature in the Lupila baby range

Alongside its maternity collection, Lidl is also adding new pieces to its gorgeous Lupilu baby range, which include sleepsuits, joggers, tights and cardigans. The charming designs start from just £1.99 for a pair of organic striped baby tights, with prices expanding to £4.99 for a pure organic cardigan.

Last month, meanwhile, the German supermarket announced another exciting fashion range – this time collaborating with supermodel Heidi Klum. The debut 18-piece fashion collection starts at just £4.99, and is set to be unveiled during New York Fashion Week on 18 September.

The location couldn’t be more perfect, with Heidi having drawn inspiration from the city to design her clothing line, which has been aptly named "Heidi & The City." In the first preview photo of the range, key pieces include glitzy bomber jackets, skinny jeans and leopard print dresses – representing the iconic city's chic, yet classic style.
