Kanye West will not present his new Yeezy line on the runway at New York Fashion Week, according to reports. Writers at The Business of Fashion website revealed on Wednesday they had received an email from bosses at Redken, the beauty company hired to provide hairstyling at the rapper-turned-fashion designer's show, stating his season six presentation is not going forward.
The event was originally scheduled to take place on 13 September.
Although Kanye does not appear on the schedule for NYFW, which kicks off in the Big Apple on Thursday, there's still a chance he will be showing his new designs in another forum.
"There was basically a hold in the event (in case) Kanye opted to show during NYFW," a source explains to Entertainment Tonight. "There will be a presentation or showroom for the season 6 collection, just not during NYFW. So, again, there was no cancellation (of his entire season six collection)."
Kanye and New York Fashion Week bosses have feuded in the past - his Yeezy show in February was officially axed from the schedule by Council of Fashion Designers of America officials, who punished the star for failing to approach them and book a time slot in a timely fashion.

The hip-hop star waited until the last minute to announce his 5pm presentation, which directly conflicted with the Marchesa brand show, causing a number of conflicts and headaches.
News of his New York Fashion Week departure comes on the heels of fresh reports suggesting Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian are expecting their third child together via a surrogate. The baby is reportedly due in January.
