Primark's £14 glitzy Minnie Mouse heels are the perfect choice of footwear this festive season

On close inspection, the Minnie Mouse heels have been inspired by a pair of Oscar Tiye heels from the designer's Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Currently, the heels, which retail at £415, are being sold for £205 on Net-A-Porter, and are aptly named the 'Minnie' sandals. Last year, the Italian designer showcased a range of colours on Instagram, which included denim, baby pink, sparkly black and red.

This is not the first time that Primark have impressed us with their range of affordable footwear. The store shared a range of patterned ballet shoes and slip-on loafers on their Instagram account earlier in the year, which were priced at just £8. Eagle-eyed fashion fans were quick to point out that Primark's shoes look almost identical to a £530 pair currently available in several different colours at Gucci. Primark also sold a pair of £10 red stilettos back in June, which looked exactly like luxury shoe designer Gianvito Rossi’s £550 'Portofino sandals.'

In April, meanwhile, the high street sore rreleased backless mules that were very similar to a £475 Prada pair. Customers had the choice of three styles - dark denim, black and nude, which were on sale for an ultra-affordable £8, giving fans the opportunity to own a very similar pair of shoes at a fraction of the price.
