Nicki Minaj called out cultural appropriation as she performed at designer Philipp Plein's New York Fashion Week show. Nicki was the guest performer at the German style star's runway show on Saturday night, and performed alongside 21 Savage, Yo Gotti, and Rae Sremmurd.

While she was more than happy to be singing for the A-list crowd, which included 50 Cent, Paris Hilton, and Ne-Yo, Nicki made her feelings about designers borrowing trends from black culture crystal clear.

"Thank you, Philipp Plein, for including our culture," she told the crowd, according to the New York Post. "Designers get really big and really rich off of our culture, and then you don't see a [anyone] that look anything like us in the front row half the time. So let's make some noise for Philipp Plein tonight."

Earlier in the evening, Philipp showed off his new season styles with a diverse group of models, including Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus, who stormed the runway in a pair of jeans with leather detailing and a biker jacket with no shirt underneath.

Future was also part of the fashion presentation, performing as Philipp made his way down the catwalk to close the show.

"I'm just using fashion as a vehicle to open up more doors and opportunities for my entrepreneurialism further down the line," Cordell told the New York Post.

"I want to executive-produce and star in my own movies. I'm going to use modelling as a branding platform so people can see my face and see my brain. I want to make movies like Marvel, and I want to tell stories. I want to do a story on my grandfather and his life because he's a Vietnam vet. He's got tremendous stories and life experiences."

Snoop's dad Vernell Varnado was also tapped to star in the show, alongside hip-hop stars Swae Lee, Rich The Kid and Teyana Taylor who danced to Future's hit Mask Off.
