Selena Gomez has signed up as a longterm spokesperson and designer for Puma. The Fetish hitmaker is "really excited" about her new deal, which she announced via Instagram on Monday. Alongside a photo of herself wearing a black Puma crop top and workout leggings, she wrote: "Officially a part of the fam (family) @puma #pumapartner".
"I think it's become this collaborative thing where streetwear and fashion blend into one," she tells Vogue magazine to coincide with the announcement. "It's a really beautiful thing because I see girls now feeling sexy in not even necessarily workout clothes, but clothes you could go workout in, then put on a cute pair of shoes and go out after."

And she confesses to being obsessed with sneakers at the moment as she continues her recovery from kidney transplant surgery.
Francia Raisa is 'beyond grateful' to have donated her kidney to Selena Gomez
"I needed to kind of take a moment for myself because all of this (transplant) has been overwhelming, so I used to just walk around my house barefoot or with socks, and everywhere I would go, I would wear a sneaker from that point on," Selena explains. "I actually forgot how to walk in heels... a little bit."
She currently rotates about 20 pairs of sneakers at her home-from-home, New York City, and has plenty more stashed at her permanent residence in Los Angeles.
"Now that I'm a part of this (Puma) family, it's nice because I'll get to pick out ones that look good with everything," she beams, while confessing to borrowing a few items from boyfriend The Weeknd's wardrobe, especially “staple hoodies”.
"Sometimes I'll throw on his Puma stuff and just go out with my shoes," she adds. "I'll just wear that as a little cute date-night dress or something to the movies."
