Fendi has served up a spring/summer 18 collection full of sexy stripes. The Italian fashion house, helmed by Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi, presented as part of Milan Fashion Week on Thursday, with bold lines appearing to be the order of the day.
Models Kaia Gerber and Bella Hadid strutted their stuff, with the former showing off garments such as a skirt and jacket with brown diagonal stripes, while the latter star turned heads in an edgy brown leather trench and striped dress.
Chequered patterns also made appearances in tights, tops and what appeared to be a see-through raincoat. The colour palette was somewhat dark at the beginning, with deep greens and navy injected throughout; even the models' hair was sprayed with blue streaks to keep up the theme.

However, the clothes became brighter as the procession continued, thanks to the likes of a sheer white floral top and skirt combination, as well as a bright turquoise knee-length jacket complete with colourful flowers.
Handbags stood out down the runway too, with totes ranging from small options with chains to bigger, tasselled finishes.
Max Mara also showed on Thursday morning, kicking off proceedings with a cool and casual spring/summer 18 collection. Separates were the centre of attention, with models rocking a series of single-coloured outfits in black, lilac, beige and white, among other shades. Sleek suits, tailored trousers, and smart skirts made their way down the catwalk, all of which could easily be paired with other items from the line.
Patterns also made an appearance in the form of small 'M' initials covering garments such as a silky cream jacket and matching skirt, while other pieces like a sheer ruffled dress boasting a floral print.
