Premium British womenswear brand Needle and Thread, has launched their very first Christmas Collection, which is available now! The contemporary label has launched 'Stargazer', which aptly takes its inspiration from starry twilight skies to create an ethereal mix of occasionwear pieces that are perfect for the upcoming party season. The extensive collection has been edited by Man Repeller, a hugely popular online fashion blog.
Ruffle dresses feature in the collection
The collection is brimming with a flattering palette of champagne, dusty grey, pale pink rose, and the contrasting tone of jet black. The collection, like many of the brand’s signature pieces, features a plethora of feminine silhouettes. There's a true mix of decadent, full-length evening gowns, to playful mini-skirts. Tulle, soft cottons, and of course, elaborate embroidery (which Needle and Thread are known for) feature in the collection, as well as a special appearance of applique ruffles and sparkly trims. Fitting in with the twilight inspiration, silver-cut beads feature heavily throughout.
Lace blouse, £200
We especially love the Andromeda Gown, which boasts a lace boarder detail, tiered ruffles and small smatterings of silver motifs, which give a definite nod to the collection's 'Stargazer' namesake. If a full-length hem isn't for you, it is also available in a shorter length. As well as magnificent party dresses, the collection encompasses ruffled blouses, which are heavily influenced by vintage pieces, and louche hooded sweaters with lace detail, in black and dove grey, which are perfect for styling over a t-shirt or knit, giving casual outfits a glamours edge.
