Kate Garraway showcased her fabulous sense of style on Friday's Good Morning Britain, grabbing viewers' attention in a statement red leather skirt. The fashion-forward ensemble, which costs just £25 from high-street store New Look, was cut just above the knee and featured a side slit, showcasing the 50-year-old's toned limbs. The TV presenter teamed her skirt with a coordinating jumper and nude stilettos. On the show, Kate celebrated the hula-hoop's 60th  birthday, and had fun practicing the popular pastime live on air.

During the segment, fans were quick to compliment the star on her choice of outfit, with one writing on Twitter: "That red skirt! You look awesome!" Another said: "Really should go to work but mesmorised by @kategarraway on GMB," while a third added: "You have literally won today with that fabulous skirt."

Kate, who is often spotted in stylish ensembles on the days she presents the popular ITV breakfast show, is also a fan of dressing up.  In September, the TV star joined the likes of Myleene Klass and Johnny Vaughan, who were all transformed into their favourite musical icons to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise charity. Myleene opted to look like Freddie Mercury and Johnny looked unrecognizable as Debbie Harry. Kate, meanwhile, chose to play homage to David Bowie.

The Smooth presenter looked very much like her musical idol on his Aladdin Sane album cover, complete with the iconic lightning bolt. "I've been a lifelong fan of David Bowie. He was influential worldwide, not just through his music but also visually and artistically, with such a dramatic and iconic style," Kate said. "I thought it would be fun to try something completely out of character for me. Global's Make Some Noise is an amazing initiative, supporting charities that don't get much attention and helping raise awareness for smaller organisations that need a lucky break, a leg up or a helping hand. Helping them make some noise so they can help more people is brilliant.".
