Angelina Jolie stole the limelight as she walked the Hollywood Film Awards red carpet on Sunday evening. Turning heads as she posed for photographers, the 42-year-old oozed elegance in a silver Jenny Packham wrap dress, which cinched in at the waist. The striking number fell to the floor in loose drapes and featured a plunging neckline as well as a delicate velvet trim. She wore her brunette tresses in luscious waves, while highlighting her pretty complexion with a statement red lip and winged eyeliner. To complete the ultra-glamourous look, Angelina added a diamond necklace and coordinating earrings.

It was a special night for the American actress as she was honoured with the Hollywood Foreign Language Film Award for her Netflix drama, First They Killed My Father. The Cambodian film is based on a true story following a little girl, Loung Ung, as she and her family are torn apart by Khmer Rouge, a communist party who committed mass genocide in which an estimated two million Cambodians died. Speaking at the world premiere of the film in August, Angelina said: "I cannot find words to express what it means to me that I was entrusted with telling part of the story of this country."

She continued: "This film was not made to focus on the horrors of the past, but to celebrate the resilience, kindness and talent of the Cambodian people. Most of all, this film is my way of saying thank you to Cambodia. Without Cambodia I may never have become a mother. Part of my heart is and will always be in this country. And part of this country is always with me: Maddox." Meanwhile, other attendees on the night included Dakota Johnson, Carey Mulligan, Viola Davis, Amy Adams and Kate Winslet, who took home the Hollywood Actress gong for Woody Allen's film Wonder Wheel.
