Holly Willoughby made a stunning style statement on Wednesday morning, as she posed in a striking, poppy-printed midi skirt ahead of her appearance on ITV's This Morning. The 36-year-old star opted for a close-fitting, black crew-neck top and floaty skirt combo for her 'outfit of the day' post, which has fast become one of her most eagerly anticipated updates on her much- followed Instagram account. The poppy print skirt was a respectful nod to Remembrance Sunday, which is 12 November. Holly also wore a poppy on yesterday’s show.

Holly wore a fabulous pair of red caged, pointed-toe heels by high-street store Mint Velvet, and left her black tights at home, instead opting to go bare-legged as she gave a glimpse of her toned calves. The TV presenter's skirt is from high-end store Lily and Lionel, a brand which has been worn by a whole host of celebrities including Doctor Foster star Suranne Jones. Her contrasting navy jumper is from mid- range store Massimo Dutti and the red shoes give the outfit a gentle pop of colour.
