Lais Ribeiro cried tears of joy when she first tried on the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. The Brazilian model is set to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China later this month, joining the likes of Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima. Lais has been tapped to wear the bejewelled "Champagne Nights" Fantasy Bra at the spectacle, which is worth over $2 million (£1.5 million), and she couldn't believe her luck when brand executives told her she'd been tapped for the prestigious gig.
"I had no idea that the fitting was for the bra," she told Teen Vogue. "I came in and when I tried it (on), I cried. It was unbelievable."

The Fantasy Bra was designed by jewellers at Mouawad, and features gold filigree in the shape of leaves and flowers, as well as yellow diamonds, gold sapphires, and blue topaz gemstones. And Lais is thrilled to be following in the footsteps of a diverse range of models to rock the stunning lingerie, with Adriana, Miranda Kerr, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Jasmine Tookes all taking turns at modelling the Fantasy Bra over the years.
"All the viewers look up to us, and we just want to prove to everyone that they can be a part of it also. That's what I love about the brand," the 27-year-old shared.

Lais first appeared in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2010, and was scheduled to walk in the 2012 presentation, but had to pull out due to a sprained ankle. The brunette star is now working hard on her preparation for the 2017 edition, and shared in a recent interview that she hits the gym every day in the lead-up to a runway gig.
"I go to the gym every day," she revealed to Cosmopolitan. "I do my own exercises like aerobics and yoga, which work your whole body." The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be taped for broadcast around the world on 28 November. Newcomers on the runway this year will include Grace Bol, Roosmarijn de Kok, Alexina Graham, Frida Aasen and Victoria Lee.
