Miles Kane has created a capsule collection with Fred Perry. The British musician, who has long been a fan of the clothing brand, went from dreaming up a shoe design to working on an entire collection, which features classic pieces such as a polo shirt and tracksuit. When it came to crafting his line, Kane opted for a "1970s Italian feel, as seen in Goodfellas". The Last Shadow Puppets rocker has already given fans a glimpse at the range on Instagram, posting one photo of himself sitting in a cafe wearing a white T-shirt and blue button-up jumper with a navy blue collar.

While in another snap, he stands in the doorway of the eatery in a dark tracksuit, with both the zip-up sweater and trousers boasting Fred Perry's famous laurel wreath emblem. "The attraction for any brand working with someone like Miles is that we will tap into his group of followers," Rob Gaitt, Fred Perry's brand director, told Business of Fashion. "For some of these fans, it might be the first piece of Fred Perry they buy." The range launches on 14 November and will be priced between $105 (£80) and $125 (£100).

Fred Perry is no stranger to forming bonds with British artists; it was only earlier this year that the fashion house teamed up with London's 100 Club to hold free gigs. The music venue is famed for hosting the likes of Oasis, Mark Ronson, and The Sex Pistols. Fred Perry has previously unveiled partnerships with designers Nigel Cabourn, Raf Simons and Blondey McCoy, the man behind skate label Thames. Pointing out Fred Perry's desire to champion unknown names Gaitt added, "You don't have to be famous for us to pay attention to you."
