Bridget Malcolm wishes Victoria's Secret stars luck ahead of show

The Australian model sent a sweet message to the VS models on social media

November 20, 2017

Bridget Malcolm has wished all the models walking during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show luck as she watches from the sidelines this year. The Australian star had walked the runway for the lingerie giant in 2015 and 2016 after previously being rejected, but she isn't part of the line-up in Shanghai, China on Monday. That didn't stop her from sending a message to the rest of the girls though, as she took to Instagram with a photo of herself from a past show wearing her costume from the label's Pink range. "Good luck to all my girls walking the #vsfs2017 I know how much hard work and dedication goes into it - Have so much fun!!! You've all earned it," she captioned the shot.

STORY: Gigi Hadid will not be walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashio Show

Bridget Malcolm has wished the Victoria's Secret models luck

Fans replied to her picture sharing how much they would miss her in the latest event, though she isn't the only one who will be absent from the 2017 catwalk; Gigi Hadid recently confirmed she would be absent this year, though didn't reveal why, and Ukraine beauty Dasha Khlystun is the latest star whose name has been thrown into the mix of models ruled out of the show. It's thought Dasha, along with Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva and Irina Sharipova, were denied Chinese Visas, along with popstar Katy Perry, who was scheduled to perform during the show.

The model took to social media to post a sweet message of support

Meanwhile, it has been claimed Gigi isn't allowed into the country after posting a video of herself earlier this year squinting her eyes to resemble a Buddha-shaped biscuit. The rest of the models, including Gigi's sister Bella, veteran Angel Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss and Sara Sampaio are all busy preparing to unveil Victoria's Secret's latest pieces. Fans will also get their first glimpse at the brand's collaboration with Balmain, designed by the fashion house's creative director Olivier Rousteing.
