The Duchess of Cambridge embraced dark tones on Wednesday morning as she visited Birmingham for a day of engagements, accompanied by her husband, Prince William. The Duke and Duchess's first port of call was the Jaguar Land Rover's Solihull Manufacturing Plant, where they met with staff and apprentices, and were given an overview of the site. The mother-of-two, who is expecting her third child, seemed to be in great spirits and sported a radiant, fresh pregnancy glow as she greeted staff during the official outing.
Duchess Kate sported a pregnancy glow
Kate, who has suffered with severe morning sickness throughout her pregnancy, looked to be back on top form at the event. The 35-year-old appeared fresh and ready for the day ahead, following her appearance at The Queen and Prince Philip's anniversary celebration at Windsor castle on Monday. In honour of the occasion, she stepped out in her favourite black Diane von Furstenberg Zarita lace gown, which she accessorised with a four-strand pearl choker owned by the Queen, and once worn by William's late mother, Princess Diana.
The classic black coat looked amazing on the Duchess
Kate once again turned heads on Wednesday, choosing a black occasion coat, which finished just above the knee. It covered her black dress which had an on-trend high-neck cut. The chic ensemble was a comfortable choice for the mother-to-be, while the coat's gold, military-style neck, cuff and back detail gave the design a statement edge. The hemline finished just a little above the knee – and the Duchess added daring knee-high boots with a block heel, and opaque black tights. Kate kept her jewellery to a bare minimum, choosing simple drop earrings by Kiki McDonough.

The mother of Princess Charlotte and Prince George sported fresh, glowing skin which was enhanced with natural make-up, and showed off her radiant glow. Her luscious, brunette tresses were styled voluminously, and her curls looked full and immaculately coiffed.
