Duchess Kate gives us party dress inspiration!

The Duchess of Cambridge's dresses are incredible- and we want them all!

November 23, 2017

At this time of year, Duchess Kate's festive frocks provide much inspiration when it comes to finding the perfect seasonal party dress. The traditional Christmas colours of red, white and gold are apparent as we take a look back at some of our favourite dresses from Duchess Kate's wardrobe. If you have a black-tie event, the mother- of- three's collection of gowns provide the perfect imagery to base your entire party looks on, as all her styles are classic and would suit multiple shapes and sizes. They also could be worn time and time again, due to their timeless nature. The wife of Prince William has showcased numerous looks in her time; and we have a wide collection to share with you. From the green lace design from Temperley, to the striking red creation by Preen, and the cream Roland Mouret long-sleeved gown. We love the off - the-shoulder Alexander McQueen number, and of course, the gold Jenny Peckham design. The list is endless!

One of our all-time favourites, Duchess Kate stunned in this off-the-shoulder tiered black gown with green and white floral detailing. She wore this off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen design to the Baftas in 2017. If you try to recreate this, keep the regal look going with hair swept off the face.

It goes without saying that the colour red goes hand in hand with Christmas. Duchess Kate has a penchant for the bold hue and always looks ravishing in red. She wore this gorgeous bardot-style midi dress by Preen for the evening reception on the royal tour of Canada in September 2016. What's more, she liked it so much she's also got it in black. A perfect evening look.

It's difficult to carry off the colour gold if you have pale skin but Duchess Kate wowed in this glittering floor-length Jenny Packham dress which she wore in 2013. The fact it is covered in sequins gives it a really festive and glittery look. It is simple yet extremely elegant.

Duchess Kate stunned in a green lace dress by Temperley London when she attended the 2017 National Portrait Gallery gala. The elegant floor-length lace dress is a perfect style for this season as it not only keeps you covered up but the lace gives it an element of glamour and enables you to show off a bit of skin through the material. If you have a black-tie event this is a great style to follow due to its flattering design as it skims the waist and flares out without being too clingy. Having long moved on from summer's acid brights and paintbox pops of colour, jewel tones such as this emerald green are a real hit for Winter 2017.

Duchess Kate looked extremely regal in this white long-sleeve gown with a thigh-high slit. Worn in 2012, this Roland Mouret cream dress is still on trend now. Cool and sleek looking, a white dress will ensure you stand out at any party.
