We almost did a double take when we saw Littlewoods' new red maxi dress. The striking design is almost identical to a designer version by Gucci - a velvet-trimmed, ruffled stretch gown which is part of the brand's coveted AW17 collection and is priced at an extravagant £2030. Online retailers Littlewoods' dress is an almost perfect replica, and is priced at £90. That's a saving of £1,940!
Spot the difference!
It is so hard to tell the difference between these two dresses - they both boast a flattering maxi length, with on-trend bell sleeves, ruffle detail, a deep V neckline, and a black tie belt. The Littlewoods version was most recently worn by Myleene Klass on 23 November at Global's Make Some Noise gala in London. It is part of her highly-popular, ongoing collection with online retailer Littlewoods, and the red maxi number is part of her milestone 30th collection for the brand.

The mother-of-two made the bold dress her own as she posed for a sea of waiting photographers at the event. She added her own textured waist-cinching belt, instead of the sash that comes with the dress, and accessorised with a box clutch, gold hoop earrings and dainty gold necklaces.
The Gucci dress retails at £2030
The dress would be the perfect design to rock at a Christmas party, with the long hem flattering for all shapes and sizes. The waist belt would enhance both curvaceous and boyish frames, and you could even wear it without the belt and add a jacket or bolero for added glam.
