Chrissy Teigen recently announced the happy news that she and John Legend were expecting their second baby together, and the model looked positively radiant as she stepped out to debut her bump on the red carpet on Wednesday night. Chrissy joined her husband at Smithsonian Magazine‘s 2017 American Ingenuity Awards at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington – where John was being awarded an honour.
The 31-year-old model dressed in a floor-length gown adorned in burgundy, gold and black embroidery detailing, and featuring semi-sheer long sleeves, and was teamed with a black clutch and gold hoop earrings. Chrissy's new fringe was also enhanced, with her hair styled in a chic top-knot. Beauty-wise, the star opted for a glowy base and a sweep of peach-hued blusher across the apples of her cheeks. A peach lip and smoky eye completed her look.

Last week, Chrissy took to Instagram to reveal her new hair transformation shortly after breaking the news of her pregnancy. The model's bluntly cut fringe was cut to perfection by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin – who also works with Katy Perry, Jessica Alba and Khloé Kardashian – who is reportedly expecting her first child. "I did it! Thank you @jenatkinhair and @priscillavalles!!!" Chrissy wrote besides the image of her new look.
The doting mum announced her pregnancy earlier in the month with a little help from the couple's 19-month-old daughter Luna, sharing an Instagram video showing the toddler gently stroking her mum's tummy. "What's in there?" Chrissy asks her little girl, who sweetly replies: "Baby." Alongside the clip, Chrissy joked in the caption: "It's John's!" John responded to the clip by commenting: "Maury will have the final say on this."

Chrissy has previously spoken to E! News about expanding her family, and although she stayed mum on her pregnancy news, she did hint that a new baby might soon be on the way. "We're still trying," she said. "I mean, hopefully in the next few years, because for me I really want to just knock 'em out. That's my dream. I want to just be pregnant kind of for the rest of my life. Not for the rest of my life, but for the rest of my fertile life! So we'll see."
