Christine Lampard posted a striking selfie on her Instagram account on Wednesday evening – featuring a close-fitting pastel blue roll-neck jumper, which is £89 from department store John Lewis, and a metallic cobalt blue sequin pencil skirt from British high-street chain Marks & Spencer, priced at £45. The stunning TV presenter and wife of Frank Lampard took the stylish snap ahead of her TV appearance on ITV's Loose Women, which delighted her dedicated Instagram following. Christine's high-street led look was put together by none other than Angie Smith; the stylist responsible for Holly Willoughby's hugely popular This Morning outfits.

The skirt is part of Marks & Spencer AW17 collection and features a sumptuous applique texture, in a pencil cut which created a sleek silhouette on the trim wife of footballer Frank Lampard. The Loose Women presenter added the simple roll neck knit in a complimenting blue hue, from online John Lewis and it's made with the softest cashmere for extra comfort. The close-fitting knit delicately skims the body thanks to it figure-hugging cut. The easy-wearing top was the perfect style to pare with such a statement skirt and the TV star tucked it in to the waistband, which made the most of her minuscule waist. The top is produced in a variety of shades, including a deep crimson which is a typically on-trend shade for the current season.

Christine, 38, looked expertly polished and immaculate as ever, with her dark brown hair curled into a relaxed, wavy style, and her olive complexion glowing with a flawless, tanned base. She showcased her trademark smoky eye make-up in the snap, which would have been achieved by dark eye shadow and lashings of lengthening mascara. The Loose Women presenter's make-up was applied by celebrity make-up artist Helen Hand, who works her magic on many fellow TV presenters, including Lorraine Kelly.
