First lady Melania Trump has certainly been wowing the world with her fashion choices since she took up residence in the White House. Opting for sleek and chic looks, she’s been honing her FLOTUS style with a number of public appearances this winter – and we couldn’t help but notice her obviously enviable coat collection, always styled to perfection with matching accessories.
At her most recent engagement, Melania continued a Christmas tradition handed down by previous first ladies, attending charity event Toys for Tots to join military families in sorting through gifts for less-fortunate children. Choosing festive green to keep cosy for the occasion, her Prada pea coat was styled with camel trousers and on-trend knee-high boots.
Statement coats are certainly Melania’s winter style staple – proven by another public appearance at a children’s hospital in Washington DC, where she chose a chic oversized white number to drape over her shoulders.
Teamed with a matching top and skirt combo and neutral heels, the first lady nailed the stylish alpine look.
Melania’s stand-out style moment of this season was certainly her look at the annual US Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
She turned heads in a gift-box-red Chanel coat that was left entirely to do the talking, matched only with a nude Louboutin heel and her signature mid-parted blowdry.
We love this tapestry-style Stella McCartney longline coat that Melania wore for a Thanksgiving event at the White House.
She finished the rustic look with a burnt orange top and tan leather skirt, as well as her signature pointed heels – this time in a dark winter brown.
In her most festive winter look yet, Melania stepped out in a beautifully-tailored tartan coat to receive the Christmas tree at the White House this year.
Draped over her shoulders in the style she clearly favours, the Calvin Klein outerwear was layered over a Christmassy red roll-neck and chic black jeans, and teamed with Victoria Beckham boots.
