All eyes were on Meghan Markle as she stepped out in Cardiff with Prince Harry this week for her second official engagement of the year. The former Suits actress stunned photographers and the waiting crowd in a smart black coat £1350 by Stella McCartney, £175 trousers by Welsh brand Hiut Denim, top by Theory and patriotic green tote bag by DeMellier London, £165, which was a nod to the Welsh flag. Meghan, 36, wore her long brunette hair once again in an updo. Her make-up was typically flawless, featuring neutral brown eyeshadow, dark mascara and glossy nude lips. Harry and Meghan's first port of call was Cardiff Castle. The trip has been designed to showcase the incredible culture and heritage of Wales, and during their time in city they will learn more from some of the local organisations working in the community, as well as hearing performances from musicians and poets, and meeting with leading sportsmen and women.
Meghan looked incredible in the sleek coat
Prince Harry's fiancée has fast become a fashion powerhouse following the news of her engagement, with many of her chosen items becoming instant sell-outs. Meghan caused a sensation online when she visited Brixton on 9 January; the £45 knit jumper she wore from British high street chain Marks & Spencer not only became a sell-out, but was selling for four times the amount on EBay.
The couple stunned on the trip
The same can also be said for Meghan's handbag collection. On Christmas Day she carried the Chloe 'Pixie' bag which subsequently flew off the shelves, and the burgundy Strathberry handbag she wore when she visited Nottingham on 1 December resulted in the website crashing! It's not just her wardrobe which causes a frenzy. When the actress stepped out in Brixton with her hair tied back in a 'messy bun', beauty fans around the world were quick to discuss the style and emulate her chic look.
Meghan's coat was by Stella McCartney and is priced at £1350
The couple will marry at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on 19 May, following on from their engagement announcement on 27 November 2017. Bets are now being placed as to which designer wedding gown the future royal will opt for on her big day.
