There's a hat designer beloved by both Beyoncé and The Duchess of Cambridge – Eugenia Kim! And what's more, the two ladies wore Eugenia's designs just days apart from each other. Beyoncé, 36, was the first to showcase the designer, when she made an appearance at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party on 27 January in a stunning leather beret. Her black statement dress worked perfectly with the bold hat – which has since been re-named 'The Carter Beret' in honour of the Crazy in Love singer.

Only two days later, Prince William's wife stepped out in a stylish bobble hat from Eugenia, during her first public engagement in Sweden on the royal tour. Kate, 36, looked stylish and snug in the Rain Chunky Rib Knit beanie hat with large pom pom on the top, which retails at £135. Kensington Palace later issued a statement, confirming that Kate was wearing a faux fat hat - and not one of Eugenia's similar designs, which uses 100 per cent artic fox.

Eugenia Kim is renowned for her fresh, modern take on classic hats, using a variety of colours, shades and bold detailing. But they do come with a high price tag, ranging from around £100-£500. In 2015, the designer released the hugely popular 'Do Not Disturb' sun hats, which were adored by fashion bloggers, and have featured heavily on Instagram.
