Victoria Beckham's loyal fans may have been shocked to see the star's latest New York Fashion Week outfit, as the stylish mum-of-four stepped out in a loose-fitting pair of jeans - instead of her usually more tailored outfits - earlier on Friday. The 42-year-old chose to team her slouchy, high-waisted 'mom' jeans with a navy blue polo neck sweater, her much-loved burgundy handbag and a pair of matching ankle boots, which gave the look a chic, muted colour palette.

Accessorising with her current favourite pair of sunglasses (thought to be the Power Frame style from her own collection), Victoria nailed the off-duty chic look, despite heading out for another busy day of work as she showcases her brand's Autumn/Winter 2018 collection in the fashion capital. It looks like son Brooklyn is going to be by her side to support her once again too, as the 18-year-old was spotted following his mum into the car.

This isn't the first time Victoria has chosen to surprise in denim for a big event - she famously chose to wear a simple pair of straight leg jeans and a loose white tee shirt for her Spring/Summer 2018 presentation in New York. Choosing once again to scrape her hair back into a low style, it's clear that the star feels comfortable in her favourite denim pieces.

In fact, this year the savvy businesswoman has changed the way she shows her new designs - by inviting special guests to 'intimate presentations' at the exclusive James Burden Mansion on Manhattan's Upper East Side, rather than organising a big runway show. Perhaps that's why she's chosen to dress down!
