Millie, 28, whose great, great grandparents (Violet and John Macintosh) invented everyone's favourite confectionary Quality Street, first appeared on our TV screens in 2011 starring in the early episodes of hit reality show Made in Chelsea. Her on-off romance with now fiancé Hugo Taylor was one of the early show's high points. Speaking about the latest collection of her self named commercially successful fashion line. "This is the fourth season since I re-launched, but I've been doing it for four years," she tells us of the bohemian mix of smock, maxi and ruffle dresses; chiffon tops and jumpsuits.
Fashion is in Millie's genealogy: "My mum has good style, growing up I'd sit and play with her clothes for hours," she reminisces. "She reminded me at the weekend that I used to dress up in her Versace skirts. She said she'd heard that Versace was having a massive comeback, but said she wants to keep her collection. I was like: "Come on mum, pass it on!" she laughs. Of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (both friends of hers, but she doesn't talk about them, officially) are not the only couple to wed, this year. This summer Millie is set to marry Hugo; she was previously married to musician and presenter Professor Green (aka Stephen Manderson).
Millie's style has naturally evolved since she appeared in Made in Chelsea. "I was 21 then and it was more about bodycon bandage dresses and super-high heels; quite big hair and heavy makeup - plus lots of tan," she remembers. "I still love having a glow, doing my makeup and having my hair done, but now I don't have so many things going on at once. Before I thought I had to have my legs showing or loads of skin on display. Now I feel really sexy in a suit or a mini dress or all covered up, with maybe a little glimpse of skin."
