We’re head over heels for Kate Garraway's outfits. The Good Morning Britain presenter is a big fan of bold prints, colour and quirky styles, and always manages to wow with carefully selected pieces that flatter her trim figure perfectly. The 50-year-old star is dressed by stylist Debbie Harper, who also works with the likes of Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins. And while the pair are both fans of high street stores such as Zara and River Island, Kate does sometimes wear outfits that are a little further out of most fans' budgets. But don't worry, because HELLO! Has scoured the high street to find the best budget versions of her pricier looks.
This feminine suit is so flattering
While she tends to favour dresses, Kate proved recently that she looks just as good in a sharp tailored trouser suit. This version is nipped in at the waist, flattering her hourglass figure and keeping the overall look feminine. However, it's a little on the pricier side of what we're used to seeing Kate wearing – the blazer and trousers are both by Damsel in a Dress and are on sale for £159 and £120 respectively.
For a bargain-priced lookalike, you really can’t go wrong with Zara. The high street favourite has a very similar-looking fitted blazer and wide-legged trousers in its current collection. The jacket is priced at £49.99 and the trousers are just £25.99.
Earlier in January, Kate wowed on the red carpet when she appeared at the Costa Book Awards in London wearing a black prom-style dress with a full skirt, clinched in waist and lace overlay. The frock is by bridal designer Caroline Castigliano who doesn’t have prices on her website, but considering she specialises in bespoke piece for top end clients it probably cost a pretty penny.
However, we've tracked down a brilliant lookalike at a gorgeous price. This ASOS version is just £45 and would look just as glam on nights out or for special occasions.
Just before Christmas, Kate delighted fans with a super-festive turquoise velvet dress, which was ruched in at one side for a super-flattering finish. The stylish party dress was from LK Bennett and cost £295.
For a daytime version of this look – and at a snip of the price – this teal midi dress from Dorothy Perkins has the same flattering cut and can be dressed up with heels and statement jewellery. It's on sale now for £21.
