Princess Eugenie looked radiant as she stepped out for a Commonwealth Youth Forum reception at the Queen Elizabeth Centre in London on Wednesday. The royal, who is due to marry Jack Brooksbank in October, chose one of her favourite dresses for the occasion – a black, yellow and white floral number by high street store Whistles. The princess looked elegant in the dress, which she paired with a pair of black boots. We do wonder, however, if Eugenie was a little warm as she wore the outfit on spring's hottest day so far, with temperatures hitting 23 degrees in the capital.

Beauty-wise, Eugenie's skin looked flawless and she drew attention to her eyes with a thick sweep of black eyeliner on her top and bottom lashes. She went for a nude lip and a light pink blush. The royal's hair was styled in a chic down look.

It's not the first time the royal has worn this particular dress; Eugenie has chosen the floral frock for several recent engagements. Back in November, the princess wore an almost identical outfit for an event at Mayfair's Louis Vuitton store, which she attended with her sister Princess Beatrice. Just as she did on this outing, Eugenie wore black boots with the dress.

It's a busy time for the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, as she prepares for her own wedding on 12 October. The happy news was announced in February on the royal family's official Twitter account. The message read: "The marriage of Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank will take place on 12th October 2018. As previously announced, the wedding will take place at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle."
