Sarah, Duchess of York decided to switch up her look on a trip to Italy this week and stunned in a striking turquoise dress which hugged her slim frame and gave her a streamline silhouette. The mermaid-esque gown featured delicate ruching and a strap encrusted with diamante detail. She added gold jewellery and wore her famous red locks in a chic up do. Her makeup was amped up for the Gala dinner – she sported dark smoky eyes and a smattering of nude lipstick. The lavish event the Duchess was attending was hosted by luxury jewellers Bulgari at Villa Miani in Rome. If you fancy doing as the duchess does – Lavish Alice have a fabulous draped turquoise design which is very similar to Sarah's frock and it retails at an affordable £65, available online in all sizes.
Sarah looked amazing in a turquoise, full-length dress
The former wife of Prince Andrew has had quite the stylish week – On Tuesday evening she watched a performance by theatre group Chickenshed at London's Southbank and decided to opt for the fail-safe fashion rule of the little black dress – she wore a loose-fitting frock, opaque tights, a black pair of court shoes and jazzed up her look with a suede purple clutch bag, complete with crystallised butterfly motif. The fit and flare cut made the most of her trim physique, and she wore her tresses in a half-up, half-down style.
