There’s a new celebrity offspring on the block, and we predict you're going to be hearing rather a lot about her. Ewan McGregor appeared arm-in-arm with his daughter Clara on the red carpet of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Monday. And while the Trainspotting star's new film, Zoe, was premiering, it was his model daughter who got everyone talking. The 22-year-old looked stunning in a sheer peaches and cream Givenchy frock teamed with 90s-style pointed beige stiletto boots. Here are ten things you need to know about the rising star.
Clara and her dad appear to enjoy a strong bond
1. She's not afraid to bare all
Clara made her modelling debut for Playboy magazine just a few days ago. In the feature, the 22-year-old posed nude on a bed and gave a candid interview about her life and ambitions.
2. She's an aspiring actress
It appears Clara is keen to follow in her film star dad's footsteps. The New York University graduate told Playboy that she wants to pursue an acting career. She's currently starring in a short film that she wrote and directed herself.
3. She's close with both parents – despite their split
Clara and her dad looked relaxed and happy on the red carpet together at the Tribeca Film Festival, despite the 47-year-old recently filing for divorce from her mum, designer Eve Mavrakis, and starting a relationship with 33-year-old Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She also appears close to mum Eve, regularly posting pictures of her on her Instagram.
4. She's one of four sisters
Clara is an older sibling to Jamyan, 16, Esther, 15, and four-year-old Anouk.

After appearing at Tribeca with her dad, a cruel troll wrote on Instagram: "Dear Clara...where have you left your dignity? Your mother will be taking care of your sisters, will not she? You have sold yourself for a plate of lentils."
She laughed it off, saying: "Ha! Sorry the last part about the lentils really got me… I love lentils."

6. She admits to being 'a rebel'
Clara revealed to Playboy that for years she tried to rebel against her dad by being uninterested in acting: "All throughout high school I really turned my back on acting. I said I was going to be a photographer, I'm going to be behind the lens. At 12-year-old, I moved to LA, which is all Hollywood and all I was asked is, 'Are you going to do what your dad does?' I was rebelling."
7. She's proud of her roots
Clara has been photographed rocking a 'Scotland' logo sweater, proudly referencing her dad's heritage.
