Rosie Huntington-Whiteley counts her Dionysus as a favourite
While the original Dionysus is made mainly in the Italian designer's classic GG-logo canvas material, Spring/Summer 2018 has once again seen Gucci re-imagine its popular bag in countless colours and designs - most prominently with crystal studs along the seams. Topshop have taken heed to that trend and come up with their own take - and while it's a different enough bag to avoid looking like a cheap knock-off, it certainly has that Gucci-style silhouette we all want.

Gucci's Dionysus small crystal shoulder bag, £2880, and Topshop's Studded Shoulder Bag, £32
Available in nude pink, black, red and tan, Topshop's version features gold studs and a similar flap detail to the Dionysus, though it has a circular fastening instead of the stand-out animalistic clasp on Gucci's. It's made of faux leather, to warrant the bargainous price-tag, though it still has a suede-like finish to the contrasting front panels - much like some of the luxury designs.

The shoulder bag is having something of a moment this season (despite a recent movement towards more relaxed accessories such as cross-body and bumbags) - but for those unsure of the look, Topshop's option is most definitely the way to dip a hesitant toe in the trend.
