Charlotte Hawkins wore a fabulous orange dress on Tuesday morning as she presented Good Morning Britain. The body conscious design featured had no sleeves, delicate lacing and a cropped hem and made the most of her trim physique. Styled by her to-go-to stylist Debbie Harper, the pretty 42-year-old uploaded a shot of her latest ensemble on her Instagram account and comically made the discovery it matched the famous GMB carpet! The former Strictly Come Dancing star posted a shot of her sitting on the carpet, which perfectly matched her fancy frock, and wrote in the caption; "Today it appears I have come dressed as the @GMB carpet… #whenyourdressmatchesthecarpet" fans found it most amusing, with many of them taking to the comment section of Instagram. One wrote: "How funny! You still look gorgeous Charlotte"

Charlotte giggled at the fashion faux pas

The mother-of-one loves bright colours and often wears zesty hued dresses in a variety of fabulous shades. In April, viewers loved Charlotte's yellow cocktail dress with a contemporary floral print by ASOS which prove most popular. The mother-of-one looked incredibly svelte-like in the figure hugging design which skimmed her lean frame. The bold number finished just above the knee and had long sleeves and a close-fitting cut.

The rainbow micro trend has been a big hit in 2018 – with everyone from Holly Willoughby to Lorraine Kelly sporting the striped look. Charlotte made the trend work for her last month as she wore a striking body con rainbow number by Next which cost an affordable £35. The bold design was predominately made up of yellow, red, white and blue stripes and she coordinated it with orange high heel shoes by Spanish retailer Zara.
