Blake Lively's Met Gala gown was one of the stand out pieces at this year's benefit, and even Blake herself said that HER Versace dress deserved to be in a museum. The dress, which took 600 hours to make by hand, mesmerised onlookers on Monday evening in New York. But while Blake's gown was the centre of attention, her Judith Leiber clutch bag was the true fascinating piece of her outfit. In the centre of the custom-made bag were the initials B, J, I and R with their surname Reynolds underneath. The letters stand for Blake's family: herself, her actor husband Ryan Reynolds and their children James, three and Ines, one. How adorable!
On the Judith Leiber Instagram page, there is a close up photo showing Blake's clutch bag. The jewel detailing is stunning, showing the four initials shooting out from a cross, which was in keeping with this year's Met Gala theme: 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination'.
The post read: "Judith Leiber’s lasting legacy lives on. Blake Lively carries a custom Seamless Sacred Heart on the #MetGalared carpet tonight." Designer Judith sadly passed away in April, the same day as her artist husband.

On the former Gossip Girl star's Instagram page, she shared her own photos of her outfit, writing: "I mean c’mon @Versace. This gown is bananas. It should’ve been IN the museum. Thank you for the honor of wearing this incredible creation."
Her fans adored the dress, with one commenting: "Out of this world! Most amazing look ever!" Another said: "The dress is just amazing. And btw, Blake looks exactly like a queen, she is beautiful." One posted: "Insane!! You absolutely killed it!!!" Her photos amassed a huge 2.5m likes.
