The cutest members of the royal family looked as adorable as ever

May 19, 2018

Prince George and Princess Charlotte looked utterly adorable while fulfilling their page boy and bridesmaid duties at the royal wedding today. Four-year-old George was dressed in an all-black trouser suit and sister Charlotte, aged three, looked gorgeous in her white bridesmaid dress with sash and flower crown. The pair entered the chapel with behind their new aunty Meghan Markle holding hands with the other page boys and bridesmaids, who included Prince Harry's goddaughters Florence van Cutsem, three, and Zalie Warren, two, Meghan Markle's godchildren Remi Litt, six, and Rylan Litt, seven, Harry's godson Jasper Dyer, six and Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney's children Ivy, four, and twins Brian and John, seven.

Clare Waight Keller, who designed Meghan's sensational wedding dress, was also behind the six young Bridesmaids’ dresses, which were hand crafted in the Givenchy Haute Couture Atelier in Paris. They were designed to have the same timeless style as Meghan's gown.

Each bridesmaid dress was sculpted in Ivory silk radzimir, and is high-waisted with short puff sleeves and hand finished with a double silk ribbon detail tied at the back in a bow. The page boys' smart suits with ruffled fronts also echoed Harry's military uniform.

One tender moment was when the little page boys and bridesmaids waved to happy onlookers as they arrived in their cars – Charlotte is certainly becoming a pro at this, having stolen the show with her regal wave when meeting little brother Prince Louis for the first time. They carried on smiling and waving at onlookers as they entered the chapel.

After the ceremony George and Charlotte followed their aunty and uncle down the aisle and out of the chapel, where they stood and waved to crowds alongside their parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Grandad Prince Charles, Camilla Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan's mum Doria Ragland.

It's the second time we've seen George and Charlotte fulfill these duties – the little royals appeared as page boy and flower girl for aunty Pippa Middleton almost a year ago when she married James Matthews at St Mark's Church in Berkshire. Then the prince sported a cream double-breasted long-sleeved shirt, olive green pantaloons, long white socks and white shoes. Charlotte wore a cream dress with dusky pink sash and flower crown.

Little George looked super cute in a black long sleeved trouser suit, and showed off his playful personality by laughing and holding hands with the other page boys. It's also the first time the little royal has bene seen in trousers instead of shorts – he's usually spotted in them every time he steps out in public, as is tradition for young aristocratic boys.

The three-year-old has been fulfilling her royal duties beautifully recently, delighting onlookers with a wave when arriving at the Lindo Wing to meet little brother Prince Louis for the first time, and giving the youngest prince a tender kiss in his first official photographs. Today she fulfilled her bridesmaid role impeccably as she accompanied Meghan Markle down the aisle wearing a gorgeous cream frock, smiling and holding hands with the other bridesmaids.
