She's back – and looking more amazing than ever! Janet Jackson wowed the audience at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night when she stepped up to receive the prestigious Icon award. The 53-year-old looked incredible in a short sparkling gold minidress, which she teamed with chunky necklaces and bangles, and an amazing pair of thigh high gold lace-up sneakers which perfectly showed off her toned legs from all of that dancing. She wore her hair in a high half-topknot hairstyle, and finished off the look with striking winged eyeliner and long lashes.

The mum-of-one was introduced to the stage by Bruno Mars, who reminded the audience of her many achievements over the years as well as the Jackson family's humble beginnings in Indiana. He then congratulated her on being "the first black woman to ever receive the Billboard Icon Award". The Grenade singer also couldn't resist giving Janet a bow as she stepped up on stage to receive her award.
While accepting the award, she took the time to make a speech addressing the #MeToo movement against sexism and abuse. "I believe that for all the challenges, for all our challenges, we live at a glorious moment in history," she said.

"It's a moment when at long last women have made it clear that we will no longer be controlled, manipulated, or abused. I stand with those women and with those men equally outraged by discrimination who support us in heart or mind."

Janet then took to the stage and wowed the audience with a performance of her all-time greatest hits, including 1986 single Nasty and her 1993 song Throb. And the internet was thrilled – fans took to Twitter to praise her style and performance, with one user writing "Janet Jackson still got it in her 50s" and another adding "You are forever an icon".

She also rocked a second stunning look while appearing on the red carpet at the event – this time consisting of a full-length tulle prom-style skirt, white T-shirt and leather belt, coupled with a chunky chain necklace and hoop earrings. Janet, we've never seen you looking so great!
