The A-list were out in force in New York on Tuesday night for the premiere of hotly-anticipated movie Ocean's 8. The film's top names Rihanna, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter dressed to impress, giving the crowds what they wanted –gorgeous gowns on the red carpet. Floaty outfits were a key theme, with both Anne and Rihanna appearing in stunning sweeping dresses. Sandra wowed in a beautiful golden dress with show stopping feather detail on the shoulders, while Cate took the trouser suit to new levels with multi coloured sequins and a plunging neckline. One Instagram user totally read our minds by posting: "All. Of. These. Outfits."
Where to start? Rihanna rocked it in an amazing aubergine dress by Givenchy. The shimmering material gathered into tulip-shaped waves and fell just below her knee. The singer teamed the look with some chic sandals and lipstick of the same colour, and wore her hair in a cool slicked-back style. We're digging her statement earrings too.

Model Gigi Hadid also attended the premiere and looked stunning in a fabulous corseted black gown by Vera Wang with quirky oversize sleeves and a seductive high thigh split.
Sarah Paulson wore the brightest dress we have ever seen in neon yellow feathers. It certainly got attention! What do you think of the vibrant dress – would you wear it on a night out?
