What do Ruth Langsford and the Duchess of Cambridge have in common? Well, they both work side-by-side with their husbands, they both are household names and they both have the same fashion sense. That’s right, the wife of Eamonn Holmes has noticed that Duchess Kate copied her look for the Trooping the Colour ceremony at the weekend. Posting a side by side photo, the TV host alerted her fans to the similarities, writing: “Great minds think alike…!!” And she’s not wrong - both looks are very similar; from the belted dress to the headgear and even an identical hue. They’ve both worn their hair in a similar style! This is uncanny…

Ruth’s fans are totally in agreement, writing: “Ruth, you wore it best,” and “she copied you”. Another follower showered her in praise, commenting: “Ruth, you wore it better, Kate looks beautiful but you look amazing.”

While Kate’s blue dress was an Alexander McQueen number, Ruth opted for a Goat dress which she teamed with a Jenny Packham fascinator. Kate loves Jenny Packham’s designs, so the similarities just keen on comin’.

Ruth wore the baby blue dress to watch her husband Eamonn Holmes receive his OBE back at the beginning of June. At the time the 58-year-old posted a series of photographs from the day, writing: “Off to the Palace! SO proud of my husband @eamonnholmes who will receive his OBE for services to broadcasting today… nobody deserves it more.” She followed with a red heart emoji and hashtagged the photo “#ProudWife”.
