The Duchess of Cornwall knows how to accessorise an outfit in style! The wife of Prince Charles attended a charitable event thrown by an elephant protection charity - Elephant Family - on Thursday afternoon. The charity was founded by the Duchess's late brother Mark Shand, who dedicated his life to protecting the species and she and the Prince of Wales are joint Presidents of the charity. Camilla stunned in a sleek cream silk dress with embroidered shoulder detail by one of her favourite occasionwear designers Fiona Clare. The tailored cocktail-style dress had 3/4 length sleeves and a flattering V-neckline. The simplistic frock skimmed her shape with its elegant cut and she carried with her favourite dove-grey tote bag, accessorised with her statement pearl choker and added a pair of cream shoes that had a trendy contrasting toe-cap detail. The 70-year-old wore subtle makeup and sported a voluminous blow-dry as she greeted the crowd. The event was quite the star-studded soirée - joining the Duchess at the launch outside the Oriental Club in Mayfair were actors Waris Ahluwalia and Olivia Grant and model Jodie Kidd.

The mother-of-two has had an action-packed few days where she has made a variety of appearances, including twinning with the Countess of Wessex at the Most Nobel Order of the Garter Ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor on Monday.
Both ladies wore outfits which had monochrome detail - Sophie brought the glamour in a 50s-style while dress that was cut with a square neckline and designed with a black print emblazoned over the top.

She teamed her frock with a pair of nude suede court shoes and a matching hat. Duchess Camilla mirrored Sophie and looked stunning in a dress and jacket two-piece combo. Her tailored jacket had intricate lace embroidered trim in a monochrome design and she added her trademark pearl necklace, a pair of white and black block shoes and topped off her look with a crisp white hat.
