Chloe Madeley has opened up to TV host Christine Lampard about the drama surrounding her Royal wedding outfit. The daughter of former This Morning presenters Judy Finnigan and Richard Madeley told the Lorraine show how she learned her lesson after accidentally exposing her shoulders at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in May, after she left her jacket on the coach by mistake. Chloe looked stunning on the big day in a light pink dress with spaghetti straps – however, outfit protocol stipulated that guests' shoulders must be covered in the church service, hence the uproar at Chloe's dress choice.

Chloe explained that she had got too hot on the coach journey to Windsor Castle and took off her jacket. Poor Chloe then forgot to pick it up and had to enter the church bare-shouldered.
She said: "[I thought] it’s fine, it’s not a big deal, nobody will care. Yes, people definitely cared. People were like, ‘You’re offending the House of the Lord, I was like, ‘Oh my god, oh my god, I did not need a religious war’. But, you know, it’s OK, lesson learned.” She added: “My shoulders will probably be out at my own wedding. I don’t think I’m going to do the long sleeve thing. It’s me. I mean, come on.”

Back in April, Chloe and her fiancé James Haskell announced their engagement to HELLO! in an exclusive interview and photoshoot. The England and Wasps rugby star surprised his girlfriend, personal trainer Chloe, during a romantic trip to Paris, with a stunning diamond and platinum engagement ring he designed. James told us: "That ring was a labour of love for me. I designed it for Chloe myself because I wanted it to be perfect and for her to love it."

Chloe revealed: "He kissed me on the forehead and said, 'You do know how much I love you, don’t you? The last three and a half years have been the best years of my life.' "I just thought he was being romantic because we were in Paris, so I replied, 'Oh babe, that’s so sweet.'" she recalls.
