Emma Louise Connolly is having a very busy month, fresh from attending Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor's beautiful wedding, the 26-year-old model and influencer is turning fashion designer for Nasty Gal. Watch out Victoria Beckham because this Scottish lady, who is smitten with Oliver Proudlock from Made in Chelsea, has teamed up with Nasty Gal to help edit a 30-piece summer capsule wardrobe, which takes inspiration from her summer favourites and her worldly adventures.
She even came up with the ideas for a couple of tees in the collection. She said: “The slogan ‘you are gold baby, solid gold’ I had read ages ago, can’t remember where and it’s just stuck with me ever since. The other slogan ‘it’s all good baby baby’ is my fave Biggy Smalls song. Honestly creating my own slogan tees for this edit was a dream come true.”

The range features cute ruffle tops, lace up shorts and pretty dresses alongside key summer staples such as slogan tees and white denim which complement the collection.
If you follow Emma Lou on Instagram you’ll know she has an eclectic personal style which embodies the confident and carefree attitude of Nasty Gal. “I would say it’s lazy but thought about, it that makes sense?” she said, admitting that her style icon is 90s Nicole Richie. “I like to be comfortable but I will always accessorise mostly with my jewellery which is such a staple for me.”
The campaign was shot in Nasty Gal’s hometown of Los Angeles at the Wright Ranch in Malibu, and the collection will be available at nastygal.com from 10 July 2018.
