Zara Tindall looked gorgeous and relaxed at the Gatcombe Park annual horse show on Sunday. Soaking up the sunshine at the equestrian festival, the Queen's granddaughter joined husband and rugby star Mike Tindall and four-year-old daughter Mia at the event, whilst baby Lena - who was born 18 June - was left ticked up at home as the family enjoyed the horsey day out. The royal embraced the heatwave in a simple navy polo shirt, khaki shorts, tortoiseshell sunglasses and finished the outfit off with a pair of white Converse trainers. The trainers were quite the bargain; they retail at £44 online and are seen as casual staple by many. In fact, Zara isn't the only royal who has recently revealed her love for the style. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie told the September Issue of British Vogue that they once had an almighty row over a pair of Converse in the past.

Speaking to the publication, Beatrice, 29, explained: "One of the biggest fights we ever had was about a pair of Converse trainers," she explained: "We have the same size feet and both of us had identical pairs. One pair got trashed and the other sister may have swapped them." Who would have thought it?

During the same interview, Prince Andrew's daughters explained how they coped with the intense criticism they have experienced over the years regarding their choice of attire.

£44, Converse

Bride-to-be Eugenie recalled one occasion, during a garden party at Buckingham Palace, when the negative comments just got too much.

She told the magazine: "There was a horrible article that had been written about Beatrice and she got really upset. We were just about to step out and she had a bit of a wobble and cried."

"I was looking after her," she went on. "And then about an hour later, I had a wobble and started crying and Bea was there for me." The pair also said that there's "no point being angry with anyone for beating us up – we just need to shine light and love in the world."
