We’ve always fantasised about owning a closet full of Gucci, but realistically we know that's not going to happen any time soon. Good job then we have Primark to help us out – the high street giant has just released some sneak peeks at its newest handbag collection, and we can't help noticing that one of them is a dead ringer for an iconic design from the Italian label. On its Instagram page the fashion bargain favourite shared an image of pieces from its Autumn collection, one of which is a red quilted shoulder bag featuring a gold chain and chunky gold-plated detailing.
The original Gucci design
It's a dead ringer for Gucci's Marmont bag, which retails for £760 for Net-a-Porter and has a huge cult following. The Primark lookalike will be on sale for a mere £6 – that's an unbelievable saving of £754. Other chic designs appearing in the retailer's new season offerings including a boxy mustard handbag, and a black cylinder-shaped number featuring a gold chain and tassels.

It's not the first brilliant designer lookalike to come out of the high street chain, either. Earlier this year it released some dead ringers for Stuart Weitzman's strappy Nudist sandals – a red carpet favourite worn by everyone from Emily Ratajkowski and Olivia Palermo to Diane Kruger – for the pocket money-friendly price of just £10.

HELLO! Favourite Stacey Solomon recently told us her tips for getting the best bargains at the store. She said: "I try and go really really early as soon as it opens because no one has been there yet. I go even before they open the tills, basically you can get there like 45 minutes early or half an hour before, and they haven't opened the tills yet. It genuinely feels so good and you can scan around the shop with hardly anyone around."
