Sneaker fans rejoice: if you’ve ever missed out on the chance to get your hands on the most sought-after trainers, you might just be in luck. Global payments and shopping service Klarna has joined forces with sneaker experts, Highsnobiety, to launch a unique raffle that will see lucky winners bag a pair of the world’s most sought-after shoes.
The raffle cleverly uses heart-rate technology to measure how excited entrants are, so only the most passionate sneaker fans stand a chance of winning – and those pesky internet bots which so often win regular sneaker raffles won’t stand a chance in this one. Entrants will have to place their fingertip on the camera lens of a smartphone or desktop to enter, to prove that their heart that beats for sneakers (and that they’re human!).

The sneaker edit includes some of the most iconic and sought after shoes from the last decade, including Adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 750 OG (2015), Acronym x Nike Presto Mid (2016), Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Jordan 1 Chicago (2017), Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1 (2017) and Daniel Arsham x Adidas Futurecraft 4D (2018). Ooh la la!
Speaking about the innovative raffle, David Sandstrom, CMO at Klarna said: “At Klarna, we believe everyone should get what they love in life and in shopping. That’s why we’ve created Heartbeats 4 sneakers especially for the sneaker community. Finally a sneaker raffle where your chance to win is purely based on your love for sneakers, not your access to bots or special intel, ensuring only those who truly love sneakers end up the rightful owners.”
The collection will drop on 2 July, and you can enter by visiting heartbeats4sneakers.com. The launch party is taking place on 2 July 6pm-12 midnight, too!
